The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth for new 3DS, Wii U or Xbox One is not censored in any way. — Tyrone Rodriguez (@tyronerodriguez) April 2, 2015
So, as it turns out, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is really coming to Xbox One, WiiU, and New 3DS. The Bind of Isaac blog post yesterday was obviously an April Fool’s Day joke. And yes, you did read that correctly, it’s coming exclusively to New 3DS, making it the second game to be announced exclusive.
Yesterday we did a podcast, and I may have been under the influence, and I may have called Edmund McMillen the only/head developer of The Binding of Isaac Rebirth. As it turns out, I’m an idiot. The original game was designed and independently developed by Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl. The “Rebirth” remake is being developed by Nicalis, famous for their indie game ports, including the founder of the company, Tyron Rodriguez, with McMillen as the head designer. The more you know.
